The fee is 5.99% of the locum’s agreed pay rate only. It is applied per completed shift. Mileage, accommodation and any other expenses agreed directly between practice and locum are not subject to the fee. If a shift is cancelled before it takes place, no fee is charged.

The platform fee applies once a shift is completed. Posting shifts, browsing locums and negotiating are all free. You are only charged when the work is done.

Your Locum Team is your private pool of locums, notified first every time you post a shift. You build it two ways: find great locums through Ronda’s wider network and add them after a great shift (just the standard 5.99%, nothing extra); or bring your own locums from outside Ronda (£59/month per branch, no booking fees on those shifts ever, 2 months free). If no one in your team is available, the shift opens automatically to Ronda’s wider network.

Bring Your Own Locums lets you invite locums you already trust from outside Ronda into Your Locum Team. They are notified first whenever you post a shift and there are no booking fees on any shift they fill, ever. The £59/month per branch covers the tool itself — it is not a fee per shift. You get the first 2 months free with no commitment.

Yes. The wider network alone is all you need to find and book great locums at 5.99% per completed shift. Bring Your Own Locums is an optional add-on for practices that already have locums they work with regularly. You can start with the network and add it whenever you are ready.

No. The platform fee only applies to completed shifts. If a locum cancels or a shift does not go ahead for any reason, no fee is charged.

Once a shift is complete, locums send their invoice directly through the Ronda platform. All invoices land in one centralised place in your practice account — no chasing emails or lost paperwork. Mark invoices as paid or log the payment date directly in the platform, so you always know where you stand across every branch. For multi-site practices, area managers have full visibility of invoices across all branches in one view. You pay the locum directly based on the agreed rate. The Ronda platform fee is billed separately by Ronda at the end of each month.

You pay the locum directly. Once the shift is complete, the locum sends their invoice through the platform and it appears in your billing section. All invoices from all locums and all branches are in one place, ready to download at any time.

Most practices are set up and have posted their first shift within 15 minutes. For future shifts, you can re-use any previously posted placement as the basis for a new booking, saving you time without needing to start from scratch.

The 5.99% platform fee per completed shift is the only charge for Ronda’s wider network. There are no sign-up fees, no posting fees, and no fees for any platform features. Bring Your Own Locums is an optional add-on at £59/month per branch, with 2 months free.
